Greetings,
I turn
41 years old today. This birthday is much more significant to me than my
40th because on my 40th, I was still in the wilderness being dragged, stripped
and tested.
One night, I was reading my Word and I heard the Lord’s voice. Not that still,
small voice, but His booming, powerful and bold voice. He told me to turn in His
Word to Deuteronomy 8 and said that He was bringing me into the promised land.
That night was so powerful that all I could do was cry.
I sat in my bed remembering all of the breaking, emptying, stretching and
stripping the Lord had to take me through to make sure that no matter what, I
would not quit on Him.
I remembered all of the struggle and the countless challenges that I had to face
in order to move into my authority and stand in Him.
I remembered all I had to give up in order to serve Him. I remembered
having to move all the way across the country away from my dear family to be in
obedience to His will.
I remembered having to watch all of my friends and acquaintances find the men of
their dreams and get married while I suffered through single motherhood and had
to learn how to be cleansed and purified for my Jesus, my bridegroom.
I recalled the countless nights I cried out to the Lord asking Him to show me
what we, the Body of Christ, was missing so we could move into true communion
with Him...the hours and hours of sitting in His presence and being stripped of
everything so He could trust me with anything.
I remembered all of the friendships that had to take a back seat to the calling
on my life. I recalled how many times even my own dear family discouraged me
from this tough road they thought I had chosen.
But, it was never a choice. I new from a very young age that the Lord set me
aside for Him. What I didn’t know is how difficult the road would be.
And I wouldn’t trade it in for even a moment. On this day, my 41st birthday, I
am stronger in the Lord than I ever thought possible. He has placed the keys to
the Kingdom of Heaven in my hands after profound testing and humbling.
The Ericka I used to be is dead. Any part of me left of the world had to be
sacrificed for this walk.
As I look back, and stand on the other side of the wilderness, I say without
hesitation that it was worth the excruciating pain I had to endure. And I know
that I have only begun to scratch the surface. After all, it was nothing like
the price that Jesus paid for me.
Here are the words the Lord shared with me that night:
All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that
ye may live, and multiply, and go in a possess the land which the Lord sware to
your fathers.
And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty
years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in
thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which
thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know
that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of
the mouth of the Lord doth man live. – Deuteronomy 8:1 – 3.
He continued to share all that He had in store for me as shared in the rest
of Deuteronomy 8: 7 – 20.
Lord, I thank you for keeping me and testing me in ways even I did not know I
could withstand. I am absolutely nothing without you. I praise and worship you
with all I am, all I have, and all I desire. Thank you, my Heavenly Father.
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
Love, Ericka

Here are
some pointers to guide you in growing your ministry outside of the local church:
Even with all of the marketing in the world, the very best
way to grow your ministry is to increase the time you are spending in the Lord’s
presence in order to receive increased revelation from Him.
Here are a few steps to show you the way:
-
Ask the Lord what
time He needs you to be up in the morning to receive all He has for you.
-
Begin to set your
alarm clock 15 minutes earlier each morning until you are up at the time He
has set aside for you and Him.
-
After you praise,
worship, pray and intercede, begin to meditate by asking Him to take you
inside of His scripture by asking, “Lord, what did you mean when You had
this scripture written? Speak, Lord, Your Servant is listening.”
-
Continue to command
anything unclean out of your heart and spirit so you can receive more and
more of His Kingdom knowledge, wisdom, understanding and revelation.
-
Do whatever it
takes to make time first thing in the morning for the Lord.
-
As the power of
Jesus and His works increase within you, people will notice and He will draw
men unto Him.

Greetings,
Why is
it that Christians allow themselves to be so easily defeated when it comes to
the topic of money? I am on a mission to help the Body of Christ banish our
impoverished thinking and move into the intimate relationship of knowing the
aspect of God that is Jehovah Jirah, He who knows all your needs and provides.
Here are some steps to help you make the mental, emotional and spiritual
shift to believing God for your provision:
-
End any remaining unspoken agreements you are still
carrying that
have caused you to believe that the things of God are free and to be
undervalued.
This walk, if you are serious, costs you everything. It costs you your very
life.
-
When something costs more money than you have right
now, don’t get irritated, grow your faith.
Use that dollar amount to as a barometer by
which you stretch your faith.
Let’s say a program is
going to cost an investment of $500 and the Lord is telling you to
participate. If you cannot see God as bigger than that $500, then start to
stretch your faith, stand in the Truth of scripture and begin to use the
power of your tongue to command the resources, in the name of Jesus.
The key is that it must be of the Spirit and not a desire of your ego or
flesh.
-
Then, begin to stretch your mind to believe Him for
other things that seem currently impossible.
Mark 11:22 – 24 reminds you that you will
ONLY receive those things for which you do not doubt and believe as if you
have already received them.
-
To believe as if you’ve already received them means
that your emotions should completely shift as if that thing you are asking
for is already in your hands.
If your emotions aren’t lining up, you are
not yet in true belief. You are still only hoping and hope does not move
Heaven and Earth.
-
Once you move into belief, add action or works to your
belief so it can become faith.
Remember, Heaven is not moved by tears,
stress, panic or unbelief. It is only moved by faith and authority.
We are
in a time where God is demanding that His true believers see Him for
the BIG God He is. He is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth; the Universe
and Galaxies; Jesus and The Holy Spirit. Meager financial requests are NOT too
big for God.
Love, Ericka

REACH! Ministry Marketing System 4-Part Teleclass
Tuesdays, September 6th, 20th, October 4th and 18th
with
special Bonus Q&A on Thursday, October 13th
It is not enough to have a powerful message from the Lord. He also
requires that you get His message into the hands of those you are to impact.
This means that you have to not only be a vessel for the works of Jesus, but you
must also be a marketing expert.
I call this connecting. And I have learned a TON about it! It takes a
different approach to connect with the Body of Christ. Secular marketing methods
must be adapted for the Spirit. I have put these powerful and effective
teachings together for a very special upcoming 4-part teleclass that will show
you how to easily share your ministry message and impact the lives of more and
more people.
