There are two possible orders operating in every church: Traditions of man and rudiments of the world OR righteousness (the order of the Lord). You always have to choose, you cannot serve both. Whom will you serve? Man or Jesus?
Who will you uphold? Man or Jesus? One is of Christ, the other is not (Colossians 2:8) . Use discernment and always be led of the Spirit in all you do.
This can be confusing for Christians who are called outside of the four walls of the local church because you always want to be respectful and supportive of the leadership, but it cannot be a the cost of your righteousness and obedience to the Lord.
